Decision of the Director of the Maritime Office in Szczecin dated 7th May 2005 on creation of the pilot station

On the basis of art 229 § 1 act dated 18th September 2001 - Maritime Code and § 16 point 3 Decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure dated 23rd January 2003 the following is ordered:

§1

1. The pilot station is created with its seat in the port of Szczecin

2. The pilot station receives the name: Pilot Station in Szczecin

§2

1. The Pilot Station in Szczecin organizes and coordinates the rendering of pilotage services of compulsory maritime pilotage and leads the training of candidates for pilots and open sea pilots in the area of its territorial competence.

2. The territorial competence of the Pilot Station in Szczecin comprises ports and marinas that are in the area from longtitude 15°23 24 East to the western border of Poland and the area of their roadsteads and anchorages as well as the seaway leading to those ports and marinas within the internal waters and territorial sea, and especially the seaway Swinoujscie - Szcecin

§3

Organization of work of the Pilot Station in Szczecin is determined by Regulation adopted by the Director of the Maritime Office in Szczecin, in the way determined in art 229§2 of the Maritime Code.

§4

Order no 6 of the Director of the Maritime Office in Szczecin dated 27th July 1992 on creation of pilot station (Official Journal of Law of West Pomeranian Voivodship No 9, pos. 120) expires .

§5

Decision enters into force upon signing.
